Contura-MTC

Since 2014 the company CONTURA-MTC is represented by us in Baden-Württemberg. The company was founded in 2003 by Thorsten Müller-Schmetz and Reiner Westhoff in Menden and employs about 20 people. The main focus is the conception, construction and implementation of conformal-cooled mold inserts, which are also suitable for the use of variothermal process control. Conformal-following tempering achieves four main effects - cycle time reduction, quality improvement, improved surface finish, and cost-effectiveness of the process. In 2017, our variothermic temperature control unit called GEKKO was presented for the first time at Fakuma. Thus, the already existing service area was further expanded and is received very positively by our customers.
